Follow the steps below to add your Facebook page to your Tailwind account. If you are having trouble, please see the Troubleshooting steps at the bottom.
Adding Your Facebook Page
Go to your Settings page and select Facebook pages from the settings menu
Make sure you are logged in to the correct Facebook account in your web browser
Helpful Tip: Tailwind connects through passthrough authentication, which means whichever Facebook account you are currently logged in to in your browser is the one Tailwind will use
Click Connect Facebook page
Follow the Facebook prompts to authorize Tailwind. Make sure all permissions are enabled when asked
On the Choose your active Facebook Pages screen, select the page you would like to post to from the dropdown
Click Save Facebook Pages
You are now connected! 🎉
Note: Your plan determines how many Facebook pages you can connect. If the Facebook pages option is not available, you may need to upgrade your plan.
Troubleshooting
If your Facebook page is not appearing or you need to fix permissions, try the following:
Disconnect Tailwind from Facebook and reauthenticate:
Open Facebook in a new tab
Make sure you are on the profile which owns the page you want to connect
Click on your profile picture on the right side of the top navigation bar
Navigate to Settings & privacy > Settings
In the left navigation, click on Business integrations
Find Tailwind in the list and click Remove
Return to Tailwind and go through the connection steps above again
This will give Tailwind a fresh connection to your Facebook account and should resolve most missing page or permission issues.
