How do I add a new social profile to my Tailwind account?

Take full advantage of Tailwind's creation and publishing features by connecting all of your social profiles!

You can connect as many Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook accounts (aka profiles) to your Tailwind Dashboard as you'd like!

Each new account you add will default to the Free Forever Plan, and at any time you can choose to upgrade to our paid plans for more creation and publishing power.

Follow the steps below to add your social profile to Tailwind!

Adding Your Social Profile

  1. Go to your Account Settings page, located in the settings menu in the top right-hand navigation:

  2. Make sure you are logged in to the correct Instagram, Pinterest, and/or Facebook account in your web browser.
    โ€‹Helpful Tip: The way we add your account is through passthrough authentication, which means whatever account you're logged in to on Pinterest, Instagram, or Facebook will be the one we grab in your sign-up session.

  3. Select the account type you'd like to add to your dashboard.

  4. Follow instructions from Pinterest, Instagram, or Facebook to authorize the Tailwind App.

What if I log in to multiple profiles with the same information?

Not to fear! You can still add your social profile to Tailwind -- it just may take a few extra steps for Pinterest and Instagram. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Instagram does not support adding linked sub-accounts to third-party scheduling apps like Tailwind. And if you're using Instagram's multi-account login feature, you will need to remove the Instagram profile that you're trying to add to Tailwind from your multi-account login options before you're able to add it to Tailwind.
