If you aren't able to auto-post but already have posts scheduled for auto-publishing, you can easily switch them to SMS Reminders so that your posting schedule is not interrupted.

This might happen in cases where you are unable to connect to a Meta/Facebook business page - in this case, auto-posting is not available.

To easily switch scheduled posts to SMS reminders, follow these steps:

  1. From your Tailwind Home page, click on the post as shown on your schedule, then click Edit

2. Scroll to the Post Method section of the draft and select SMS reminder

Note: If you need to edit the existing phone number, click the pencil to enter your new number and click Update Number.

If this is your first time using SMS you will be sent a verification code. SMS post notifications will only be sent out to verified phone numbers.

3. You should now see the post on your calendar scheduled as an SMS Reminder. From here, you will be sent a text message when it's time to schedule.

How to publish an SMS Reminder

  1. Open the text message and tap on the link included in the text message to open up the 'Time to Post' page

  2. Tap on the 'Copy Caption to Clipboard' button

  3. Long press the 'Long press this button to download' button

  4. Tap the 'Download Linked File' button from the pop-up menu

Please note: For publishing single images only, you can bypass this by long-pressing the image displayed on the page and selecting "Save to Photos" - then skip ahead to step 12

  5. Navigate to the 'Files' app

  6. Tap on your recently downloaded file, tap the share button, and 'Save' the image/video

  7. Open the Instagram app and click the "+" icon to create a new post

  8. Select the post type 'Post'

  9. Select the saved image or video from your camera roll

Please note: If you are uploading multiple images, you need to select the Carousel button

  10. Paste the caption that was saved to your clipboard in the 'Write a caption...' box

  11. And finally, tap the 'Share' button to publish your new Instagram post!
