To edit a scheduled Pin, open the Pin Scheduler, hover over the Pin you want to change, and click edit. Update the Pin title, description, URL, or board, then click Save Changes — your updates replace the previous version automatically, with no need to delete or re-add the Pin.
✏️ Step 1: Open your Pin Scheduler and locate the Pin you want to edit
From the left-hand navigation menu, go to your Pin Scheduler.
Scroll through your scheduled Pins or use the URL search feature in the Pin Spacing menu to locate the one you'd like to update. You'll see a preview of each scheduled Pin, including the image, caption, and the board it's set to publish to.
💬 Step 2: Edit the Caption or Description
Hover over the Pin you'd like to update and click the edit.
In the editing window, make any changes you'd like to the Pin title, description, URL, or board.
Click Save Changes to confirm your updates.
Your new caption will automatically replace the previous one in the scheduler — no need to delete or re-add the Pin!
🚀 Publish a scheduled Pin right away with Pin Now
If you don't want to wait for a Pin's scheduled time, you can publish it immediately with Pin Now:
In the Pin Scheduler, find the scheduled Pin you want to publish now.
Click the rocket icon on the Pin's hover card, or open the Pin and use the edit sidebar.
Confirm in the dialog that appears — Tailwind then publishes the Pin right away instead of waiting for its scheduled time.
Pin Now is available to all users with no plan restrictions and works for image, video, and carousel Pins. The confirmation step helps prevent accidental publishes.
🔁 Editing a repin
A repin is a scheduled draft you saved from an existing Pinterest Pin (for example, with the Tailwind browser extension). In the Pin Scheduler, repins show a Repin badge in the top-left corner of the draft so you can spot them at a glance.
Because Pinterest republishes the original Pin's details, the title, description, alt text, image, and link (URL) are locked on a repin draft. You can still choose the board, set the schedule, and adjust Communities/Turbo options.
Want to change those locked details? On the repin's info banner, click Edit details. This uses the repin as a template: it detaches from the original so the draft publishes as a brand-new Pin and every field unlocks. An Undo option appears in case you change your mind.

Keep it keyword-friendly. Use natural language that includes words people might search for on Pinterest.
Stay specific. Clearly describe what your Pin offers (for example, "Easy gluten-free brownie recipe").
Add value. Focus on what your audience will get when they click through.
Avoid repetition. Create slightly different captions for similar Pins to help reach more unique audiences.
