Your billing statement is your invoice. If you need it to show your business name, full address or a VAT/tax ID, our team can add these details for you.
Why can't I change this myself? The Update Billing Address option in Settings only saves your country. Street address, business name and tax ID have to be added by our team for now.
How to request it
Message us in chat, or email [email protected] from the email address on your Tailwind account, with:
Business or legal name
Full billing address: street, postcode, city and country
VAT or tax ID, if you have one
The date of any past statement you need reissued with these details
What we'll do
Save the details to your account so every future statement shows them.
Send you a corrected statement for any past payment you list.
About tax
Tailwind doesn't charge VAT, so statements show no VAT line. We can still print your VAT ID on them for your records. US sales tax is charged in some states and appears as its own line on the statement. If your accountant needs Tailwind's US tax ID (EIN), ask us and we'll send it.
If you update your card
Updating your card can reset the saved address fields. After a card change, check your next statement. If the address is missing, message us and we'll restore it and reissue the statement.
What we can't change
Statements always show the actual payment date, amount and payment method. We can't change those, add a due date, or issue an invoice before a payment is made.
