How to Manage Pinterest Boards in Tailwind

Create, rename, and delete your Pinterest boards directly inside Tailwind without leaving the app.

You can create, rename, and delete your Pinterest boards — and manage their sections — directly inside Tailwind, without switching over to Pinterest. It's available to all users with a connected Pinterest account. Open the menu in the Pin Scheduler and choose Manage boards, or create a board inline while scheduling a Pin.

Where to find it

There are three ways to manage or create boards:

  • From the Pin Scheduler: open the menu ("Schedule options") and choose Manage boards.

  • While scheduling a Pin: open the board selector and choose Create new board inline.

  • From a saved keyword: on the Saved Keywords page, select exactly one keyword and click Create Board. Tailwind pre-fills the board name and description from the keyword, lets you pick related Pins to save to the new board, and offers a Public/Secret choice. See How to Use Your Keyword Research Across Tailwind for details.

What you can do

  • Create a board — add a new Pinterest board without leaving Tailwind.

  • Rename a board — update an existing board's name.

  • Delete a board — remove a board you no longer need.

Managing board sections

You can also create, rename, and delete the sections within a board, right from the Manage boards page (Pin Scheduler > Schedule options > Manage boards). Expand a board to manage its sections.

  • Section management is available for boards you own. Boards you collaborate on but don't own are read-only.

  • You can also schedule Pins into a specific section of a board. In the board selector, each selected board shows a + section pill — click it to choose the section. This works for single Pins, multi-board interval Pins, SmartSchedule, and edits to already-scheduled Pins. Scheduling to a section isn't available in bulk edit yet.

  • Saved Board lists remember sections: a saved Board list now stores the section you picked for each board and re-applies those selections automatically when you apply the list. If a section was deleted on Pinterest, it's pruned silently the next time you apply.

Things to keep in mind

  • Pinterest's limit of 2,000 boards per account still applies.

  • Deleting a board permanently removes all Pins on it. This action can't be undone, so double-check before deleting.

  • Boards you collaborate on but don't own are read-only in Tailwind — you won't be able to rename or delete them here.
