Tailwind Ghostwriter is a powerful, AI-driven writing tool designed to help you quickly and easily create high-quality content for your blog, website, or business. Let Ghostwriter help you overcome writer's block quickly with an amazing first draft (or final product)! Here are some helpful tips to get you started with that perfect first draft:

1. Prime a request by sharing the POV the AI should take when generating text.

  • Place the entire request in brackets [].“[You are a…]” is a great way to start

    • ✅ Example: “[You are a talented podcast host and a graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. List 5 thought provoking questions that I might ask a guest about diversity and inclusion.]”

    • ✅ Example: “[You are an assistant helping to write a creative story. Write a 5 paragraph, fictional story about sphynx cats and their lack of hair.]”

    • ✅ Example: “[You are a professional LinkedIn recruiter trying to entice potential employees to your company. Write a 2 paragraph post that promotes a Senior Data Analyst Role at Tailwind.]”

2. Formulate requests starting with a verb

  • ✅ Example: “Write…”

  • ✅ Example: “List…”

  • ✅ Example: “Suggest…”

3. Requests should be specific, descriptive and as detailed as possible about the desired context, outcome, length, format, style, etc.

  • Less Effective ❌: “Write a poem about cats.

  • More Effective ✅: “[Write an inspiring Haiku about sphynx cats, focusing on their lack of hair.]”

Include the desired tone of the AI output.

  • Less Effective ❌: “Write a product description for a camera tripod.”

  • More Effective ✅: “[Write a fun product description for a camera tripod.]”

  • Examples ✅: fun, casual, professional, witty, sarcastic, feminine, masculine, bold, dramatic, grumpy, secretive, etc.

Reduce “fluffy” and imprecise prompt requests.

  • Less effective ❌: “The description for this product should be fairly short, a few sentences only.”

  • More Effective ✅: “[Use a 3 to 5 sentence paragraph to describe this product.]”

4. Add an audience to better dial in on who the generated text should target!

  • Less effective ❌: “List 3 simple dinner meals with a shopping list.”

  • More effective ✅: “[List 3 simple dinner meals with a shopping list for a busy mom who needs to make dinner quickly.]”

5. Utilize keywords following requests to further inform context within prompts.

  • Less effective ❌: “List 3 simple dinner meals with a shopping list for someone going camping.”

  • More Effective: ✅: “[List 3 simple dinner meals with a shopping list for someone going camping. Keywords: onion, beef, potato, pepper, tomato.]”

6. Double check text inputs!

Info: AI relies on ‘clean’ inputs in order to analyze your prompt and provide the best results. You will find better results if your prompt is grammatically correct and free of spelling errors.
