Looking to keep your Instagram descriptions clean and clutter-free? When using Auto Post with Tailwind for Instagram, you can have your hashtags automatically post in your first comment!

Please note that Auto Posting hashtags in first comment is only available for Instagram accounts with Auto Posting enabled. Learn how to enable Auto Posting here!

Here’s how to make hashtags Auto Post in your first comment on Instagram using the Android app:

  1. Upload your image or video and craft your caption.
  2. You'll notice that right beneath the caption area, you have a "First Comment" section. Only hashtags can be auto-published as a first comment - so make sure to put a "#" before whatever word or string of words you plan to use here.

3. Fill in the rest of your post options - such as location tagging and/or publishing method - and then hit schedule to have your post be added to the next empty time slot in your Smart Schedule (or you can hit post now to instantly transfer your post to Instagram).

Congrats! You now have your hashtags ready to Auto Post in your first comment! 🎉
