"Right now, there are 6 types of Rich Pins: app, movie, recipe, article, product and place. To get started, you'll need to prep your website with meta tags, test out your Rich Pins and apply to get them on Pinterest. If you're not technical, you might want to ask your developer or site owner to help get you going!"

Tailwind does not disrupt Rich Pins, so as long as you have properly enabled Rich Pins for your website all your pins will show up as a Rich pin that are scheduled through Tailwind once on Pinterest. You can always check to make sure they will work properly before publishing using Pinterest's Rich Pin Validator.

Rich Pins are different from regular Pins in that they provide extra information and have a different visual presentation than normal Pins. One of the advantages of having Rich Pins for articles is that that when Pins are clicked up close, the meta description is used as the first description seen when users click on your Pin. If you take a look at Pins on the Android device you’ll notice that the meta description is in a larger font than the actual Pin description itself. It’s given a higher position than the other description, making meta descriptions very important.

Make sure your meta descriptions lure people to want to know more about your blog article.
